    What's the battery life like?

    The Nitesights ELITE features a built-in battery that offers up to 1.5-2 hours of continuous use and supports on-the-go charging for virtually unlimited battery life.

    Does it mount onto helmets?

    Yes! Helmet mounts can be purchased separately to attach to your NVG shroud for airsoft or other applications.

    Is this infrared (IR) or analogue night vision?

    Infrared. Analogue is unattainable at this cost, yet we provide the most budget-friendly infrared goggles globally now.

    Can I turn off the IR light and only use moonlight/starlight?

    The Nitesights ELITE features two modes: IR ON and IR OFF. Disabling the IR mode will shift to day mode automatically. To utilize night vision, keep the IR light ON as this is an infrared night vision device, not analogue.

    What is the focal lens zoom?

    1x. You'll find many cheap night vision goggles from Amazon that are all 3-4x, which are unusable indoors or up close. We're one of the first to make affordable 1x night vision monoculars.

    Are the lenses on this device BB-proof?

    No, and it’s important to note that most sights, scopes, and lenses—whether on this device or others—are not completely "BB-proof." They can crack or break if hit directly with enough force, especially when struck by a high-powered airsoft gun, at the right angle, or from a close distance.

    The lenses on this device are 14mm and 12mm in diameter, so their small surface area reduces the likelihood of being hit. However, they are not invincible.

    For added protection, we recommend using the device with a rail mount and a flip-up lens shield. Be sure to position the shield close enough to the infrared (IR) lens to ensure the IR beam can still pass through effectively. This can help protect the lenses during gameplay.
